The Mission
Kyler Cares NYC DMC partners with New York Public Schools to bridge the gaps in healthcare support, diabetes education, and technology adoption for kids living with T1D. We focus on a holistic approach that addresses students’ immediate healthcare needs while also building a foundation of lifetime knowledge and resilience, as well as robust peer-to-peer and caregiver-to-caregiver support networks. We envision a future where students living with T1D can thrive both personally and academically with the support of a school system that completely understands the complexities of managing the most prevalent incurable disease of childhood.
