NYU Lagone Pediatric Diabetes Center
The NYU Lagone Pediatric Diabetes Center knows the hardest work is done by the families and understands the importance of partnering with patients and meeting them where they are. Five pediatric endocrinologists, who are part of Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone, combine clinical skills with the latest in diabetes management technology to offer children the most advanced treatments available. Families who come to Lagone don’t just get to know their endo, they connect with other members of the team including educators, nurses, psychologists, neurologists, and any other specialists needed for the best care possible. Located in the same building as all NYU Lagone outpatient clinics, consulting or seeing other specialists is super quick and easy. An integrated mental health program can provide short term and long term therapy, and their Child Life team pays attention to each child at each developmental stage, providing crucial neurodevelopmental services for cognitive functioning and support as needed.
