Camp Njeda (New Jersey)

Founded in 1958, Camp Nejeda, an acronym for NEw JErsey Diabetes Association, has grown from 20 children its first summer to nearly 500 campers and families each year. This highly specialized camp experience exclusively serves T1D children and families.

  • Sleep-away camp (1–2 weeks, ages 6–17)
  • Day camp (1–2 weeks, ages 6–15)
  • Family camp (3 days/2 nights or 1 day, all ages)

Camp Bluebonnet (Texas)

Located in Central Texas, Camp Bluebonnet is more than just a camp, it’s a community that often becomes a beacon of hope for children with a diabetes diagnosis. Campers and families develop lifelong friendships and support networks that sustain them.

For 25 years, Camp Kudzu has educated, empowered, and inspired children, teens, and their families living with T1D. Today, it supports over 1,100 children, teens, and families by providing camping experiences and educational opportunities at various camps in Georgia.

Camp Endres believes that every kid should be able to go to a summer camp regardless of the disease that they deal with on a daily basis. Activities include axe throwing, archery, paintball, ropes course, zipline, arts & crafts, swimming, and a dance—alongside diabetes education.
